The Bethlehem Project

Offering you the joy of Christmas giving this year to a pastor suffering from the prolonged and devastating financial impact of Covid-19.

The Covid-19 pandemic has shut down churches in impoverished Global South countries such as India, Sri Lanka and Indonesia. Pastors – who often rely solely on church offerings to help the poorest of the poor among them or even to feed their own families and put a roof over their heads have had their support cut off with little to no government help.

Earlier this year, WEA established the Pastor’s Emergency Fund to help meet critical needs for food, medicines and shelter. We raised and sent more than $75,000 USD where $42 helps support a pastor for one month.

Now, as the pandemic’s second wave ravages world-wide and especially as Christmas approaches, it’s time for those of us who have so much to share with those who have so little.
